![]() ![]() I think that the polling element is crucial to OSRS's long term health. So for that reason, aside from bonds, I don't think there should be any MTX in OSRS. You can't expect them to implement these harmless MTX and leave it at that, because no matter what we want, IVP will slowly push Jagex further and further until they destroy OSRS in the same way they've (all but) destroyed RS3. ![]() There are literally hundreds of MTX, some are game changing, some aren't, but my point remains. Well, actually I won't, because I'll never play RS3 long enough to do anything serious with it. That's 3 million XP that I'll get without earning. I have like 3 fucking MILLION bonus XP in Slayer alone. RS3 is so fucking easy, and a large part of that is because of MTX. I dunno if he ever did anything about it, or if he could, but they were very aware of the communities discontent with those kinds of MTX. Jagex was well aware of it, even Mark Gerhard replied to the post saying that he'd "fix silverhawk boots on Monday". I said the same thing on /r/runescape when Jagex started with the Agility boots because I knew where they were headed and that post was, at one time, the top all time post on /r/runescape. I agree with you, but even instating MTX like these will lead to the destruction of the game. For more information about account bans, click here. Feel like sharing?
